You use your technical expertise to proactively contribute to project completion, and you’re always willing to answer any questions from colleagues and customers.

Who are we?

Based in Kwintsheul, Prins Group realizes total greenhouse projects – including the associated technical systems – worldwide. With more than 80 years of greenhouse-building expertise, we take care of manufacturing, delivery and construction in high-quality and innovative projects. Over the decades, we have worked on projects in more than 50 countries. Prins Group employs over 50 people, plus a flexible layer of temporary workers, in its offices, production, logistics and at the various construction sites.

We are based in Kwintsheul, in the beautiful Westland region. Our offices are contemporary, spacious and fully equipped, our machine park in the factory was completely modernized recently, and our company has an informal, down-to-earth atmosphere.

Prins has been part of GreenV since 2021. GreenV is a major international player in the development and installation of technical systems and integrated greenhouse projects for the protected horticulture sector. GreenV has set itself the goal of becoming the global leader in horticulture in order to respond to the changes and challenges in this dynamic sector. GreenV currently comprises five companies: Stolze, Prins Group, Prins USA, HT Verboom and GreenV indoor farming.

What the role entails

As Project Lead, you are responsible for our projects from the initial order to execution and completion. No two days are the same, and you have intensive contact with colleagues, suppliers and customers about your projects. For the Execution department, we are seeking an enthusiastic colleague to become part of our core team. Your tasks will include:

  • Responsibility for the execution and completion of horticultural projects worldwide
  • Being the first point of contact for colleagues, suppliers and customers
  • Keeping current projects on track
  • Organizing, chairing and recording what is discussed at construction meetings
  • Supporting the procurement and organization of transport
  • Organizing and supervising the construction of various technical systems
  • Visiting project sites at home and abroad.

Key criteria for this role

  • You have a degree (or demonstrable experience) in mechanical engineering or a related subject
  • You work autonomously in a structured manner and can maintain oversight
  • You have demonstrable experience in leading projects
  • You can work well with software tools such as Excel, MS Office and MS Project
  • You are familiar with Autocad 2D/3D
  • You have a VCA qualification or are willing to study for one
  • You have a full driving licence
  • You are quick-thinking and find it easy to communicate on various levels.
